Advanced tooling and consumables management at Airbus D&S
TORSESA has been collaborating with Airbus Defense & Space since 2008 to improve its control systems and tooling supply.
TORSESA provides a comprehensive tool management service in the different Airbus Defence & Space plants, covering control, FOD prevention and the constant search for improvements and savings. To this end, we have implemented various technological solutions such as: consumables dispensers, trolleys with electronic access control and artificial vision, as well as specific inventory control software.
This approach guarantees the continuous availability of materials 365 days a year, a more precise control of access and consumption, as well as a significant reduction of Foreign Objects in the plant. In addition, the pay-per-use model provides flexibility and optimizes costs for the customer, reinforcing the overall efficiency of the service.
